As the days go by, the Church of God continues to grow stronger. On TikTok a new trend this year emerged through the Church as many families started decorating their houses with cross Christmas trees.
In their their view which I believe is true, Christ is the reason for the season. which I personally believe is true. Jesus Christ is the reason we get to sit with our families.

The world had gotten consumed with the fact that during this season, people were no longer celebrating Jesus Christ, but instead, drink themselves crazy every night and day, and others look forward to it as the season to make the highest profits in the business.
This is such a sad narrative as some employers these days take it further by informing their employees at the beginning of the year to not consider taking leave within this time, as everyone is looking at making profits within this time.
As Christians, it’s high time, we revised this. We have 365 days, we have 11 months to work, why would we choose to work on such a day instead of celebrating Christ Jesus who has sustained us.
Personally I am happy with this move of Christians doing the Cross decoration, other than the tree. It is bringing a clear distinction between the Christian homes and the non Christian homes.
This is not to say that the tree makes it any different but to the Christians, this day means a lot more than decorations, chicken, partying and drinks and that’s why they choose to make their home feel Christ.
